Youth Beach Volleyball Coach
QBK Sports is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced coach to help lead our thriving youth beach volleyball program. As a coach, you will play a crucial role in fostering a love for the sport, developing young athletes' skills, and building a competitive and successful program.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate practice plans for various skill levels (ages 7+).

Conduct individual and group skill training sessions, focusing on passing, setting, hitting, serving, and beach-specific techniques.

Lead scrimmages and competitions, providing constructive feedback and coaching guidance.
-
Organize and participate in tournaments, ensuring a positive and supportive team environment.
-
Recruit and retain talented athletes, building a strong and diverse program.
-
Collaborate with other coaches and program staff to ensure smooth operations.
-
Promote the program within the community and develop relationships with local schools and organizations.
-
Maintain accurate records and documentation of player progress and participation.

Qualifications:

Experience coaching youth beach volleyball.
-
Excellent communication with children ages 7+: Ability to create a safe and welcoming environment, use age-appropriate language, explain concepts clearly, actively listen, and provide encouraging feedback.

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
-
Strong organizational and time management skills.
-
Passion for beach volleyball and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Social Media & Marketing Assistant
QBK is looking for a marketing assistant to add to our team. The marketing assistant will work with management staff on creating newsletters, social media, flyers and more to keep all of QBK’s clients in the know about everything going on at the gym. Help bring people into this exciting world of indoor beach volleyball!
This job will have in person and remote work, and will be expected to be knowledgeable about all gym programming.
Marketing assistant will:

Create newsletter copy and graphics, and send out on a weekly basis

Create social media copy and graphics, set up with Meta Business suite to post weekly
-
Create posters for in-house marketing, including electronic flyers
-
Take photos in the facility to use for graphics
-
Various admin and data management tasks
Ideal qualifications:

Experience writing copy for newsletters and/or social media
-
Experience working with social media (Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter)
-
Experience working with a social media post calendar and Meta Business Suite
-
Experience with graphic design (Canva, Photoshop, GIMP, or others)
-
Self-motivated and good with deadlines
